Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Healthcare Logistics: Overview of healthcare logistics, Importance of supply chain in healthcare, Roles and responsibilities of a healthcare logistics coordinator, Key terminologies in healthcare logistics, Types of healthcare facilities and logistics requirements, Regulatory framework and compliance in healthcare

Module 2: Inventory Management in Healthcare: Fundamentals of inventory management, Stock control techniques, ABC and VED analysis, Expiry and batch management, Forecasting demand for medical supplies, Inventory auditing and reporting

Module 3: Procurement and Supplier Management: Procurement processes in healthcare, Supplier selection and evaluation, Negotiation and contract management, Ethical sourcing practices, Managing supplier performance, Risk management in procurement

Module 4: Warehousing and Storage of Medical Supplies: Healthcare warehousing principles, Storage requirements for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, Cold chain management, Material handling techniques, Safety and security protocols, Documentation and record-keeping

Module 5: Transportation and Distribution: Transportation planning and route optimization, Modes of healthcare logistics transport, Handling and packaging of medical products, Distribution tracking and monitoring, Compliance with transport regulations, Emergency logistics and disaster response

Module 6: Technology and Quality Management in Healthcare Logistics: Use of ERP and inventory management software, Barcode and RFID systems, Data analysis and reporting, Quality assurance in logistics processes, Continuous improvement and lean logistics, Auditing and regulatory inspections
