Duration: Three Months.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety: Overview of quality management in healthcare, Importance of patient safety, Roles and responsibilities of a quality & patient safety coordinator, Healthcare standards and regulations, Ethical and professional standards in patient care, Key concepts in risk management

Module 2: Patient Safety Principles and Practices: Patient safety culture and awareness, Identifying safety hazards and risks, Error prevention strategies, Incident reporting and analysis, Root cause analysis (RCA), Patient-centered care and communication

Module 3: Quality Management Systems in Healthcare: Healthcare quality frameworks and models, Accreditation and certification standards, Developing and implementing SOPs, Monitoring clinical and operational performance, Key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, Continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives

Module 4: Risk Assessment and Incident Management: Risk identification and assessment techniques, Event reporting systems, Investigating adverse events, Corrective and preventive action (CAPA) planning, Documentation and compliance requirements, Monitoring and evaluating risk reduction measures

Module 5: Staff Training and Organizational Culture: Training programs on quality and patient safety, Promoting safety culture among staff, Communication and teamwork for patient safety, Leadership roles in quality management, Engaging staff in continuous improvement, Evaluating effectiveness of training programs

Module 6: Technology, Data Analysis, and Continuous Improvement: Use of health information systems for quality monitoring, Data collection, analysis, and reporting, Benchmarking and performance evaluation, Implementing evidence-based practices, Quality audits and inspections, Strategic planning for ongoing patient safety and quality improvement

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
