Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Foundations of Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Management: Overview of the healthcare revenue cycle, Roles and responsibilities of a revenue cycle manager, Medical terminology and healthcare documentation basics, Payer types and reimbursement models, HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations, Introduction to claim forms (CMS-1500 & UB-04)
Module 2: Patient Access & Front-End Revenue Cycle: Patient registration and intake procedures, Insurance verification and eligibility checks, Benefits coordination and prior authorizations, Financial counseling and cost transparency, Accurate data entry and documentation standards, Reducing front-end errors to prevent claim denials
Module 3: Medical Billing Processes & Claims Management: Charge capture and coding alignment, Creating and submitting clean claims, Electronic data interchange (EDI) and billing software use, Managing rejections and resubmissions, Coordination of benefits and secondary billing, Timely filing requirements and payer-specific guidelines
