Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Occupational Safety Training course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to promote workplace safety and train employees in occupational health and safety practices. The program covers safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, accident prevention strategies, emergency response procedures, ergonomics, and safety management systems.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Occupational Safety Training: Overview of Occupational Safety, Role of an Occupational Safety Trainer, Key Terminology and Concepts, Importance of Workplace Safety, Ethical and Professional Responsibilities, Scope of Safety Training Practice

Module 2: Occupational Health and Safety Fundamentals: Occupational Hazards and Risks, Safety Regulations and Standards (OSHA, ISO), Workplace Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene and Health Principles, Accident Prevention Strategies, Safety Culture and Employee Engagement

Module 3: Risk Assessment and Hazard Control: Conducting Risk Assessments, Identifying Workplace Hazards, Hazard Control Hierarchy, Safety Inspections and Audits, Incident Investigation and Reporting, Implementing Corrective Actions

Module 4: Safety Training Methods and Instructional Design: Adult Learning Principles, Developing Training Programs and Lesson Plans, Classroom and On-the-Job Training Techniques, Simulation-Based and E-Learning Methods, Evaluating Trainee Performance, Adapting Training for Diverse Learners

Module 5: Emergency Preparedness and Response: Emergency Planning and Procedures, Fire Safety and Evacuation, First Aid and CPR, Accident and Incident Response, Coordination with Emergency Services, Conducting Drills and Simulations

Module 6: Professional Practice and Compliance: Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities, Documentation and Record Keeping, Training and Educating Staff, Ethical and Professional Conduct, Monitoring Compliance and Continuous Improvement, Career Development and Continuing Education

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
