Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Quality Assurance and Control for Construction course is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to develop, implement, and oversee quality control programs in construction projects. The course covers quality standards, inspection techniques, testing methods, documentation, non-conformance management, and corrective actions.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Quality Control in Construction: Introduction to quality control concepts, Importance of quality in construction projects, Roles and responsibilities of a quality control manager, Quality management systems (QMS) overview, Construction standards and codes, Understanding customer requirements and specifications.

Module 2: Quality Planning and Documentation: Developing quality control plans, Preparing inspection and test plans (ITPs), Documentation and record-keeping requirements, Quality assurance vs quality control, Establishing quality objectives and metrics, Document control systems.

Module 3: Inspection and Testing Procedures: Types of inspections (preliminary, during, final), Sampling techniques and statistical quality control, Material testing methods, Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, Equipment calibration and maintenance, Reporting and documenting inspection results.

Module 4: Non-Conformance Management: Identifying and reporting non-conformances, Root cause analysis techniques, Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), Handling rework and repairs, Non-conformance reports (NCR) preparation, Communication and follow-up procedures.

Module 5: Quality Audits and Continuous Improvement: Planning and conducting quality audits, Internal vs external audits, Audit reporting and findings management, Implementing corrective measures, Continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, PDCA), Training and competency development.

Module 6: Safety, Legal, and Ethical Considerations in Quality Control: Compliance with safety regulations, Legal implications of quality failures, Ethical responsibilities of a quality manager, Managing stakeholder expectations, Risk management related to quality, Integrating quality with environmental and sustainability practices.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
