This includes understanding front office operations, housekeeping management, guest services, inventory control, budgeting, quality standards, and team leadership.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Rooms Division Management: Overview of Rooms Division, Roles and Responsibilities of a Rooms Division Supervisor, Organizational Structure of Front Office and Housekeeping, Key Departments in Rooms Division, Importance of Guest Satisfaction, Trends in Hotel Operations

Module 2: Front Office Operations: Front Desk Management, Reservation Procedures and Systems, Check-in and Check-out Processes, Handling Guest Complaints, Concierge Services and Guest Assistance, Night Audit Procedures

Module 3: Housekeeping Management: Housekeeping Organization and Staffing, Cleaning Procedures and Standards, Inventory and Linen Management, Room Inspections and Quality Control, Safety and Hygiene Protocols, Coordination with Other Departments

Module 4: Revenue and Budget Management: Room Revenue Management, Forecasting and Budgeting, Occupancy and Revenue Analysis, Cost Control in Rooms Division, Yield Management Techniques, Reporting and Performance Evaluation

Module 5: Human Resource and Staff Management: Staff Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Scheduling and Rostering, Motivating and Leading Teams, Performance Appraisal and Feedback, Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations

Module 6: Guest Service Excellence and Technology: Guest Experience Management, Service Recovery Techniques, Managing VIP Guests and Special Requests, Technology in Rooms Division (PMS, POS), Online Reputation and Social Media Management, Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Practices

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.

• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
