Objective: The Certified Banquet Supervisor course is designed to develop the leadership and operational skills needed to effectively manage banquet and event service teams. The program covers event planning, staff coordination, customer service excellence, banquet setup and breakdown, food and beverage service standards, health and safety regulations, and problem-solving during events. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Banquet Management: Role and Responsibilities of a Banquet Supervisor, Types of Banquets and Events, Overview of Banquet Operations, Organizational Structure of Banquet Department, Coordination with Other Departments, Career Path and Professionalism.

Module 2: Banquet Planning and Preparation: Event Types and Client Requirements, Banquet Setup and Layout Planning, Menu Selection and Coordination with Kitchen, Equipment and Inventory Management, Staffing and Work Allocation, Health and Safety Considerations.

Module 3: Service Techniques and Guest Relations: Types of Banquet Service Styles (Buffet, Plated, Family-style), Table Setting and Decoration Standards, Greeting and Seating Guests, Managing Guest Expectations, Handling Special Requests and Complaints, Ensuring Guest Satisfaction.

Module 4: Staff Management and Training: Recruitment and Training of Banquet Staff, Scheduling and Shift Management, Motivating and Supervising Staff, Performance Evaluation and Feedback, Conflict Resolution, Team Building Activities.

Module 5: Health, Safety, and Hygiene: Food Safety Standards in Banquet Service, Personal Hygiene and Grooming, Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures, Emergency Procedures and First Aid, Compliance with Legal and Safety Regulations, Risk Assessment and Prevention.

Module 6: Financial and Operational Control: Budgeting and Cost Control in Banquets, Inventory and Resource Management, Billing and Payment Procedures, Handling Contracts and Agreements, Post-event Evaluation and Reporting, Continuous Improvement Practices.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
