The course covers behavior assessment techniques, functional behavior analysis (FBA), behavior intervention planning (BIP), data collection and analysis, positive behavior supports, and ethical considerations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Behavioral Interventions: Principles of behavior and learning theory, Understanding behavior functions and motivation, Overview of applied behavior analysis (ABA), Types of behavioral interventions, Legal and ethical considerations, Role of the behavioral intervention specialist.

Module 2: Behavioral Assessment Techniques: Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Data collection methods and tools, Identifying antecedents, behaviors, and consequences (ABC analysis), Using observation and interview techniques, Interpreting assessment results, Developing behavior hypotheses.

Module 3: Designing and Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Components of effective BIPs, Setting measurable and achievable goals, Selecting evidence-based intervention strategies, Teaching replacement behaviors, Crisis prevention and management techniques, Monitoring and modifying BIPs.

Module 4: Positive Behavior Support Strategies: Proactive classroom management, Reinforcement systems and motivation techniques, Teaching social and communication skills, Collaboration with educators and families, Addressing challenging behaviors with positive supports, Promoting generalization and maintenance of skills.

Module 5: Data Analysis and Progress Monitoring: Collecting and organizing behavior data, Analyzing trends and patterns, Making data-driven decisions, Reporting progress to stakeholders, Using technology for data management, Adjusting interventions based on data.

Module 6: Professional Collaboration and Ethical Practice: Working within multidisciplinary teams, Communicating effectively with families and professionals, Ethical dilemmas and decision-making, Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, Ongoing professional development, Advocacy for individuals with behavioral needs.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
