Objective: The Certified Cloud Native Developer course is designed to empower developers with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to build, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient, and agile applications using cloud-native technologies. The objective is to enable participants to leverage modern application development practices, such as microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration, and DevOps, within cloud environments like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless platforms.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Cloud Native Architecture: Understanding Cloud Native principles, Difference between Monolithic and Cloud Native architectures, Benefits of Cloud Native development, Overview of Containers and Microservices, Twelve-Factor App methodology, Cloud Native vs Traditional Development.

Module 2: Containers and Docker Fundamentals: Introduction to Containerization, Installing and configuring Docker, Creating and managing Docker images, Dockerfile best practices, Docker Compose for multi-container applications, Managing data and volumes in Docker.

Module 3: Kubernetes Essentials: Introduction to Kubernetes architecture, Pods, Deployments and Services, Working with ConfigMaps and Secrets, Scaling and updating applications, Managing storage in Kubernetes, Helm charts for application packaging.

Module 4: Cloud Native Application Development: Designing microservices-based applications, RESTful APIs and service communication, Implementing CI/CD pipelines for cloud native apps, Cloud Native Observability (Logging, Metrics, Tracing), Securing Cloud Native applications, DevSecOps principles and integration.

Module 5: Cloud Native Ecosystem and Tools: Understanding CNCF landscape, Service Mesh with Istio or Linkerd, API Gateway integration, Serverless frameworks (Knative, OpenFaaS), Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, Logging with Fluentd and ELK Stack.

Module 6: Deployment, Testing and Case Studies: Blue-Green and Canary deployments, Cloud Native testing strategies, Chaos Engineering basics, Real-world case studies of Cloud Native adoption, Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployments, Future trends in Cloud Native development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
