Objective: The objective of the Certified Crisis Communication Manager course is to equip participants with the skills and strategies needed to prepare for, respond to, and recover from communication crises. The course covers crisis communication planning, stakeholder analysis, media relations, message development, social media management, and post-crisis evaluation.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Crisis Communication: Definition and types of crises, Role of crisis communication manager, Principles of effective crisis communication, Crisis communication theories and models, Understanding stakeholders and audiences, Ethical considerations in crisis communication.
Module 2: Crisis Preparedness and Planning: Crisis risk assessment and identification, Developing crisis communication plans, Establishing crisis communication teams, Media training and simulation exercises, Creating crisis communication protocols, Tools and technology for crisis preparedness.
Module 3: Crisis Response and Management: Immediate crisis response strategies, Message development and delivery, Managing media relations during a crisis, Internal communication during emergencies, Social media management in crises, Handling misinformation and rumors.
Module 4: Communication Channels and Tools: Traditional vs. digital communication channels, Use of press releases and briefings, Crisis websites and hotlines, Monitoring and listening tools, Mobile and mass notification systems, Leveraging influencers and community leaders.
Module 5: Post-Crisis Evaluation and Recovery: Assessing communication effectiveness, Gathering stakeholder feedback, Reputation management and rebuilding trust, Lessons learned and updating crisis plans, Reporting to leadership and regulators, Supporting employee and community recovery.
Module 6: Leadership and Ethics in Crisis Communication: Leading under pressure and uncertainty, Decision-making frameworks, Building resilience and adaptability, Ethical dilemmas and responsibility, Cross-cultural communication challenges, Professional development and ongoing learning.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
