Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Digital Detox Facilitator (Mindfulness Focus) course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to guide individuals and groups through effective digital detox programs. The course emphasizes mindfulness-based approaches to help participants cultivate awareness of their digital habits, reduce technology dependency, and promote healthier, balanced relationships with digital devices.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Digital Detox and Mindfulness: Definition and Importance of Digital Detox, Impact of Digital Overuse on Mental Health, Basics of Mindfulness and Its Benefits, Relationship Between Mindfulness and Digital Detox, Common Digital Addiction Patterns, Setting Intentions for Digital Detox Practice.

Module 2: Understanding Technology Addiction: Psychology of Technology and Social Media Addiction, Signs and Symptoms of Digital Dependency, Neurological Effects of Screen Overuse, Behavioral Triggers and Habit Formation, Emotional Impact of Constant Connectivity, Assessing Personal Digital Usage Patterns.

Module 3: Mindfulness Techniques for Digital Detox: Breathing Exercises for Focus and Calm, Body Scan Meditation, Mindful Awareness of Digital Triggers, Techniques for Managing Urges to Use Devices, Guided Mindfulness Meditation Practices, Cultivating Present Moment Awareness.

Module 4: Designing and Facilitating Digital Detox Programs: Creating Customized Detox Plans, Structuring Group and Individual Sessions, Tools and Resources for Facilitation, Incorporating Mindfulness Practices, Setting Realistic Goals and Milestones, Monitoring Progress and Providing Support.

Module 5: Enhancing Lifestyle and Environment for Digital Balance: Mindful Time Management Strategies, Creating Tech-Free Zones and Times, Developing Healthy Offline Habits, Encouraging Nature Connection and Physical Activity, Nutrition and Sleep’s Role in Detox, Building Supportive Communities and Accountability.

Module 6: Professional Development and Ethics for Facilitators: Role and Responsibilities of a Digital Detox Facilitator, Ethical Considerations and Confidentiality, Handling Challenging Participants, Continuing Education and Self-Care, Marketing and Growing Your Facilitation Practice, Evaluating and Improving Program Effectiveness.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
