Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Early Literacy Development: Stages of early literacy acquisition, Phonological awareness and phonics, Vocabulary development strategies, Print awareness and book handling skills, Role of oral language in literacy, Early literacy assessment methods.

Module 2: Foundations of Early Numeracy Development: Understanding number concepts and counting, Recognizing shapes, patterns, and sequences, Introduction to basic mathematical operations, Spatial awareness and measurement concepts, Development of problem-solving skills, Early numeracy assessment techniques.

Module 3: Literacy Instructional Strategies: Phonics-based and whole language approaches, Multisensory teaching techniques, Storytelling and read-aloud strategies, Supporting emergent writing skills, Differentiated instruction for diverse learners, Using technology to enhance literacy instruction.

Module 4: Numeracy Instructional Strategies: Hands-on manipulatives and visual aids, Teaching mathematical reasoning and logic, Incorporating games and interactive activities, Integrating numeracy across the curriculum, Supporting learners with numeracy challenges, Using digital tools for numeracy learning.

Module 5: Creating Enriched Learning Environments: Designing literacy-rich classrooms, Organizing numeracy learning centers, Promoting family and community involvement, Encouraging language and math through play, Managing classroom dynamics effectively, Implementing culturally responsive teaching practices.

Module 6: Assessment, Monitoring, and Professional Development: Formative and summative assessments in literacy and numeracy, Analyzing data to inform instruction, Providing feedback to learners and families, Reflective practice and self-assessment, Professional growth and staying current with research, Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
