Objective: The Certified Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Reporting Professional course is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of ESG principles, reporting frameworks, and best practices. The program covers ESG data collection, materiality assessment, sustainability standards (such as GRI, SASB, TCFD), stakeholder communication, and compliance requirements. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to ESG Reporting: Overview of ESG concepts and importance, History and evolution of ESG reporting, Key stakeholders and their expectations, Relationship between ESG and sustainability, Global ESG reporting trends, Role of an ESG Reporting Specialist.

Module 2: ESG Frameworks and Standards: Overview of major ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UN PRI), Differences and complementarities between frameworks, Regulatory requirements and voluntary standards, Materiality assessment and identification, Integration with financial reporting, Framework selection and application.

Module 3: Environmental Reporting: Key environmental metrics and indicators, Measuring carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions, Energy and resource consumption reporting, Waste management and pollution control disclosures, Biodiversity and water usage reporting, Environmental risk and opportunity disclosure.

Module 4: Social Reporting: Social impact metrics (labor practices, diversity, human rights), Stakeholder engagement and community impact, Employee health, safety, and well-being reporting, Supply chain social responsibility, Data collection challenges and solutions, Reporting social performance transparently.

Module 5: Governance Reporting: Corporate governance structure and practices, Board diversity and effectiveness, Ethics, compliance, and anti-corruption disclosures, Executive compensation and incentives, Risk management and internal controls, Transparency and accountability in governance reporting.

Module 6: ESG Data Management and Reporting Process: Data collection methodologies and tools, Ensuring data accuracy and reliability, Reporting software and platforms, Preparing ESG reports and disclosures, Assurance and verification processes, Communicating ESG performance to stakeholders.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
