Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 1 year of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Health Screening Technician course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to perform a variety of health screening tests and assessments accurately and safely. The program focuses on understanding human anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions, along with proper use of screening equipment and techniques.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Health Screening: Overview of health screening and preventive care, Roles and responsibilities of a health screening technician, Importance of early detection and patient education, Ethical and professional standards, Legal and regulatory considerations, Understanding healthcare facilities and screening workflows

Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology, and Basic Medical Knowledge: Basic human anatomy and physiology, Understanding organ systems and common disorders, Vital signs and their significance, Introduction to common diagnostic tests, Health indicators and risk factors, Terminology used in health screening

Module 3: Screening Techniques and Procedures: Measuring blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, Blood sugar and cholesterol testing, Body mass index (BMI) and waist-to-hip ratio assessments, Vision and hearing screening, Basic physical examinations, Preparing and assisting patients for screening procedures

Module 4: Equipment Handling and Safety: Use and maintenance of screening equipment, Calibration and quality checks, Infection control and hygiene practices, Safe handling of biological samples, Waste disposal and biohazard management, Risk assessment and safety protocols

Module 5: Patient Interaction and Counseling: Effective communication and patient education, Explaining procedures and results to patients, Managing patient anxiety and concerns, Promoting healthy lifestyle practices, Documentation of patient information, Maintaining confidentiality and privacy

Module 6: Data Management, Reporting, and Professional Development: Recording and maintaining screening data accurately, Use of electronic health records (EHR) and databases, Generating reports for clinical review, Monitoring trends and follow-up recommendations, Continuous learning and skill enhancement, Staying updated with industry guidelines and best practices

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
