Objective: The Certified Hospital Front Office Executive course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge required to manage front office operations in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities efficiently. The program focuses on patient reception, appointment scheduling, registration, billing, and coordination with clinical and administrative teams.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Hospital Front Office Operations: Overview of hospital front office and reception management, Roles and responsibilities of a front office executive, Importance of patient-centric services, Legal and ethical considerations, Healthcare industry standards and best practices, Understanding hospital departments and workflows

Module 2: Patient Registration and Admission: Patient registration procedures, Verification of personal and insurance information, Handling outpatient and inpatient admissions, Managing pre-authorization and referrals, Maintaining patient records accurately, Ensuring confidentiality and data privacy

Module 3: Appointment Scheduling and Coordination: Managing appointments for consultations, diagnostics, and procedures, Scheduling optimization and workflow management, Coordination with doctors, nursing staff, and departments, Handling cancellations and rescheduling, Reminder systems and patient follow-ups, Managing multiple service requests efficiently

Module 5: Billing, Insurance, and Financial Coordination: Understanding hospital billing procedures, Coordination with insurance providers and claim processing, Managing patient payments and receipts, Generating invoices and billing reports, Handling billing discrepancies and queries, Ensuring compliance with financial policies

Module 6: Technology, Reporting, and Professional Development: Use of hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic health records (EHR), Data entry and record management, Generating reports and key performance indicators (KPIs), Monitoring workflow and operational efficiency, Professional ethics and continuous learning, Staying updated with hospital policies and healthcare regulations

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
