Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Hotel PMS: Definition and Role of PMS in Hotel Operations, Types of PMS Used in the Hospitality Industry, Core Functions and Modules of PMS, Importance of PMS in Front Office and Back Office, PMS Terminology and Interface Overview, PMS Integration with Other Hotel Systems.

Module 2: Front Office Operations in PMS: Guest Reservation Management, Check-in and Check-out Procedures, Room Assignment and Availability Control, Guest Profile Creation and History, Billing, Folios and Payment Processing, Handling Cancellations, No-shows, and Modifications.

Module 3: Housekeeping and Maintenance Modules: Room Status Management (Clean, Dirty, Inspected), Housekeeping Task Assignments and Tracking, Maintenance Requests and Work Orders, Room Inventory and Linen Management, Coordination between Front Office and Housekeeping, Real-Time Status Updates and Reporting.

Module 4: Revenue and Rate Management in PMS: Rate Plan Setup and Management, Seasonal and Promotional Rate Configurations, Integration with Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Package Inclusions and Add-ons, Daily Revenue Reports and Analysis, Yield and Occupancy Reports Generation.

Module 5: Administrative and Security Functions: User Roles and Access Rights Management, Data Backup and System Recovery, System Configuration and Customization, Audit Trails and Activity Logs, PMS Data Privacy and Compliance, Training Staff on PMS Usage and Best Practices.

Module 6: PMS Reporting and Integration Capabilities: Generating Standard and Custom Reports, Financial, Operational and Occupancy Reporting, Interfaces with POS, CRS, GDS and Channel Managers, Night Audit and Daily Closure Procedures, Using Dashboards for Performance Monitoring, Evaluating PMS Performance and Upgrades.
