Duration: One Month.

Eligibility: 10+2 Grade (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Housekeeping Quality Auditor course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to evaluate the effectiveness, consistency, and hygiene standards of housekeeping services. The course covers auditing techniques, inspection procedures, quality benchmarks, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) compliance, report writing, and performance evaluation.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Housekeeping Quality Auditing: Role and importance of quality auditing in housekeeping, Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Quality Auditor, Key performance indicators (KPIs) in housekeeping, Understanding housekeeping standards and benchmarks, Overview of different types of audits (routine, surprise, compliance), Importance of consistency in service delivery.

Module 2: Housekeeping Operations and Standards: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and maintenance, Room readiness and inspection criteria, Public area, linen room, and back-of-house standards, Safety, hygiene, and sanitization protocols, Guestroom amenities and replenishment standards, Understanding brand-specific housekeeping policies.

Module 3: Audit Planning and Execution:Preparing audit checklists and inspection templates, Scheduling and conducting internal audits, Sampling methods for room and area inspections, Observational techniques and reporting accuracy, Identifying non-compliance and areas for improvement, Using digital tools and audit software.

Module 4: Documentation and Reporting: Recording audit findings clearly and professionally, Preparing detailed audit reports with scoring systems, Tracking trends and recurring issues, Presenting reports to housekeeping and management teams, Suggesting actionable corrective and preventive measures, Maintaining records for future reference and training.

Module 5: Training and Performance Evaluation: Assessing staff performance through audit results, Identifying training needs based on audit gaps, Supporting implementation of quality improvement plans, Conducting refresher training and mock audits, Monitoring staff adherence to SOPs and protocols, Motivating staff through positive reinforcement and coaching.

Module 6: Compliance, Safety, and Guest Feedback Integration: Ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations, Coordinating with external audit and inspection bodies, Integrating guest feedback and review platforms into audit process, Aligning audits with brand quality assurance programs, Managing quality during high-occupancy periods, Promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement in housekeeping.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
