Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist course is designed to provide professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in managing digital identities, authentication, and access controls within an organization. It covers IAM frameworks, role-based and attribute-based access control, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), directory services, and compliance with security policies and regulations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1 – IAM Fundamentals & Architecture: Introduction to IAM concepts and definitions, IAM components: identities, authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), IAM architectures: centralized, decentralized, hybrid, Access control models: DAC/MAC/RBAC/ABAC, IAM deployment models: on‑premises, cloud, hybrid

Module 2 – Identity Lifecycle & Governance: Identity proofing, creation, and onboarding (human vs non‑human identities), Access provisioning and de‑provisioning, Role management, entitlement management and access reviews, Identity governance frameworks and compliance (roles, so­d, policies), Access certification, attestation and audit

Module 3 – Authentication, Authorization & Access Management: Authentication mechanisms and multi‑factor authentication (MFA), Federated identity and Single Sign‑On (SSO) protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Privileged Access Management (PAM) and least privilege, Policy orchestration and fine‑grained access controls, Session management, access monitoring and enforcement

Module 4 – Privileged Identities, Risk & Threats: Managing privileged accounts and sessions, Non‑human identities (service accounts, APIs, machine identities), Risk‑based access and adaptive authentication, Insider threats, identity fraud and anomaly detection, Integration with monitoring, SIEM, and incident response, Emerging threats and IAM defence strategies

Module 5 – Cloud, Hybrid & Identity Federations: IAM in cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Identity‑as‑a‑Service (IDaaS), Hybrid identity and directory synchronization (on‑premises to cloud), Federated identity across organisations and business partners, API identity and microservices access management, Zero Trust identity architecture and network segmentation, Migration and transition of legacy IAM to modern platforms

Module 6 – IAM Strategy, Governance, Standards & Future Trends: IAM strategy alignment with business goals and security posture, IAM governance, policies, metrics and KPIs, Standards and frameworks: e.g., NIST SP 800‑63, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR and regulatory implications, IAM implementation lifecycle (planning, design, deployment, continuous improvement), Emerging technologies: decentralized identity (blockchain), AI/ML for identity analytics, Quantum‑safe identity and future of IAM

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
