Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Internal Communications Specialist course is designed to equip learners with the skills and strategies needed to effectively manage communication within organizations to promote transparency, alignment, and employee engagement. The course covers communication planning, message development, leadership communication, employee feedback systems, use of internal channels (email, intranet, newsletters, digital signage, collaboration tools), and change communication.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Internal Communication: Understanding the role of internal communications in organizations, Objectives of internal communication: alignment, engagement, productivity, Types of internal communication: top-down, bottom-up, horizontal, Key audiences: employees, management, HR, internal stakeholders, Channels of communication: emails, intranet, meetings, newsletters, Importance of internal brand voice, tone, and consistency.
Module 2: Strategic Communication Planning: Developing an internal communication strategy aligned with business goals, Setting objectives and KPIs for communication effectiveness, Audience segmentation and tailoring messages to employee groups, Creating annual communication calendars and campaign plans, Integrating communication with organizational change and initiatives, Measuring reach, impact, and feedback.
Module 3: Tools, Platforms, and Content Creation: Choosing and using platforms: intranet, email, Slack, MS Teams, internal blogs, Creating compelling internal content: announcements, leadership messages, event updates, Visual content: posters, infographics, internal videos, Creating templates and brand-aligned assets for internal use, Managing internal social media and employee engagement platforms, Adopting digital tools for surveys, polls, and feedback collection.
Module 4: Employee Engagement and Culture Building: Role of communication in building organizational culture and belonging, Supporting internal events, recognition programs, and employee storytelling, Facilitating cross-departmental communication and collaboration, Building campaigns for diversity, inclusion, and wellness, Encouraging two-way communication: forums, feedback loops, leadership Q&As, Collaborating with HR and leadership to align messaging with values.
Module 5: Crisis and Change Communication: Communicating during restructuring, policy changes, mergers, or crises, Building trust and transparency through timely and clear messaging, Drafting internal crisis communication plans and escalation matrices, Handling employee sentiment during uncertainty or transition, Coordinating messages across departments and management levels, Learning from post-crisis reviews and improving future communications.
Module 6: Evaluation, Reporting, and Professional Growth: Creating internal communication audits and employee pulse surveys, Analyzing feedback to improve messaging and channel effectiveness, Reporting results to leadership: engagement, adoption, sentiment, Building a portfolio with communication campaigns and content samples, Exploring career roles: internal comms officer, corporate comms, HR communication specialist, Staying current with trends in digital workplaces, hybrid communication, and employee experience tools.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
