Objective: The Certified Inventory & Procurement Assistant course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to support efficient inventory management and procurement operations. The course covers inventory control techniques, procurement processes, supplier relationship management, order processing, record keeping, and basic financial principles related to purchasing. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Inventory and Procurement: Role and Responsibilities of Inventory & Procurement Assistant, Overview of Inventory Management, Procurement Process Fundamentals, Types of Inventory, Procurement Policies and Procedures, Importance of Inventory and Procurement in Supply Chain.

Module 2: Inventory Management Techniques: Inventory Classification Methods (ABC, FIFO, LIFO), Stock Control Systems, Inventory Tracking and Record Keeping, Demand Forecasting, Reorder Levels and Safety Stock, Handling Inventory Discrepancies and Audits.

Module 3: Procurement Planning and Vendor Management: Needs Assessment and Procurement Planning, Vendor Identification and Evaluation, Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Proposal (RFP) Processes, Vendor Selection Criteria, Vendor Relationship Management, Contract Basics and Compliance.

Module 4: Purchasing and Order Processing: Purchase Order Creation and Management, Approval Workflows, Negotiation Techniques, Receiving and Inspection Procedures, Handling Returns and Rejections, Documentation and Record Maintenance.

Module 5: Inventory Control Systems and Technology: Use of Inventory Management Software, Barcode and RFID Technologies, Data Analysis and Reporting, Integrating Inventory with Procurement Systems, Automating Procurement Processes, Security and Data Integrity.

Module 6: Compliance, Ethics, and Continuous Improvement: Legal and Regulatory Requirements, Ethical Practices in Procurement, Risk Management in Inventory and Procurement, Performance Measurement and KPIs, Continuous Improvement Techniques, Handling Audits and Reviews.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
