Objective: The Certified Investor Relations Officer course is designed to prepare professionals to effectively manage communication and relationships between a company and its investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders. The course covers core responsibilities such as financial reporting, earnings announcements, shareholder communication, investor targeting, regulatory compliance (SEBI, SEC, etc.), and managing public perception in capital markets.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Investor Relations (IR): Understanding the role and responsibilities of an Investor Relations Officer, Importance of IR in corporate governance and capital markets, Overview of capital market participants: retail investors, analysts, institutional investors, Regulatory landscape and disclosure obligations (SEBI, SEC, stock exchanges), Key IR functions: transparency, trust building, and corporate storytelling, IR within the finance, communication, and compliance ecosystem.
Module 2: Financial and Business Fundamentals for IR: Understanding financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, Key financial metrics: EPS, EBITDA, ROE, P/E ratio, debt-to-equity, Understanding business models, revenue streams, and industry positioning, Communicating financial performance and forecasts to stakeholders, Familiarity with annual reports, investor decks, and earnings presentations, Working closely with CFOs, finance teams, and external auditors.
Module 3: Investor Communication Strategy: Crafting a compelling investment narrative and equity story, Managing quarterly earnings calls, press releases, and investor briefings, Developing investor presentations, fact sheets, and Q&A documents, Handling media relations and communicating during crises or volatility, Ensuring consistency in messaging across platforms and audiences, Best practices in shareholder engagement and public disclosure.
Module 4: Regulatory Compliance and Reporting Standards: Understanding securities laws and stock exchange disclosure norms, Compliance with corporate governance frameworks and ESG reporting, Filing requirements: earnings reports, material disclosures, insider trading updates, Aligning IR practices with global standards (IFRS, GRI, SASB, SEBI LODR), Managing confidential information and trading blackout periods, Coordinating with legal, compliance, and company secretary departments.
Module 5: Investor Targeting, Events, and Stakeholder Management: Identifying and targeting prospective investors and analysts, Organizing AGMs, investor days, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings, Building and maintaining investor databases and CRM systems, Relationship management with buy-side, sell-side, proxy advisors, and rating agencies, Conducting perception studies and incorporating feedback into strategy, Leveraging digital tools for virtual IR and investor engagement.
Module 6: IR Strategy Development and Career Advancement: Developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy, Aligning IR goals with corporate strategy and long-term value creation, Benchmarking peer companies and competitive positioning, Building a professional IR portfolio: case studies, mock presentations, and reports, Exploring career paths: IR officer, capital markets strategist, corporate communicator, Staying updated with market trends, fintech tools, and ESG integration in IR practices.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
