Objective: The Certified IT Sourcing Professional course is designed to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively source, procure, and manage IT services, products, and vendor relationships. The course covers key topics including IT procurement strategies, contract negotiation, vendor evaluation and selection, service level agreements (SLAs), cost analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with procurement regulations and standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to IT Sourcing: Definition and Scope of IT Sourcing, Types of IT Sourcing Models (Onshore, Offshore, Nearshore), Strategic vs. Tactical Sourcing, Benefits and Risks of IT Sourcing, Role of an IT Sourcing Professional, Key Trends in the IT Sourcing Industry.

Module 2: Sourcing Strategy and Planning: Developing an IT Sourcing Strategy, Aligning Sourcing with Business Objectives, Make vs. Buy Analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in IT Sourcing, Risk Assessment in Strategic Planning, Building a Business Case for Sourcing.

Module 3: Vendor Selection and Management: Identifying and Qualifying Vendors, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI), Vendor Evaluation Criteria and Scorecards, Contract Negotiation and SLA Development, Vendor Performance Monitoring, Relationship and Conflict Management.

Module 4: Contract and Legal Considerations: Key Components of IT Contracts, Understanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs, Intellectual Property and Confidentiality Clauses, Contract Compliance and Governance, Exit Strategies and Transition Planning, Regulatory and Legal Risks in IT Sourcing.

Module 5: Financial and Risk Management: Budgeting and Cost Estimation for IT Services, Managing Financial Performance of Contracts, Risk Identification and Mitigation in Sourcing, Cost Control and Savings Strategies, Financial Metrics and Reporting, Currency, Tax, and Geopolitical Risk Factors.

Module 6: Emerging Trends and Best Practices: Cloud Sourcing and As-a-Service Models, Agile and DevOps Impact on Sourcing, Automation and AI in IT Procurement, Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing, Continuous Improvement and Innovation, Preparing for Certification and Career Development.

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
