Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Mindful Eating Coach course is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools to guide individuals in cultivating a healthy, balanced relationship with food through mindful eating practices. This course aims to deepen understanding of the psychological, emotional, and physiological aspects of eating, helping coaches to support clients in recognizing hunger and fullness cues, overcoming emotional eating, and developing sustainable eating habits that promote overall well-being.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Mindful Eating: Definition and principles of mindful eating, History and origins of mindful eating, Benefits of mindful eating for physical and mental health, Common myths about dieting and eating, Difference between mindful eating and traditional dieting, Overview of mindful eating practices and exercises.

Module 2: Psychology of Eating and Mindfulness: Understanding hunger and fullness cues, Emotional eating and its triggers, Relationship between stress and eating habits, Role of mindfulness in behavior change, Identifying mindful vs. mindless eating patterns, Techniques to develop self-awareness around eating.

Module 3: Nutrition Fundamentals and Mindful Choices: Basic nutrition concepts for balanced eating, Nutrient-dense vs. empty-calorie foods, Mindful grocery shopping and meal planning, Importance of portion control and satiety, How to listen to your body’s nutritional needs, Creating personalized mindful eating goals.

Module 4: Mindful Eating Practices and Techniques: Guided mindful eating meditations, Using all senses during meals, Slow eating and savoring food, Recognizing and honoring cravings mindfully, Mindful eating in social and emotional situations, Journaling and reflective practices to support mindful eating.

Module 5: Coaching Skills and Client Support: Effective communication and active listening skills, Motivational interviewing for eating behavior change, Setting realistic and achievable client goals, Identifying barriers and solutions in mindful eating, Building client self-compassion and confidence, Designing mindful eating programs and workshops.

Module 6: Ethics, Professional Development, and Certification: Ethical considerations for mindful eating coaches, Confidentiality and client boundaries, Continuing education and professional growth, Marketing mindful eating coaching services, Preparing for certification assessment, Case studies and practical coaching sessions.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
