Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Night Auditor course is designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to efficiently perform overnight front office operations in a hospitality setting. The course focuses on the dual responsibility of delivering guest service and conducting end-of-day financial reconciliation. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Night Auditing: Role and Responsibilities of a Night Auditor, Importance of Night Audit in Hotel Operations, Overview of Front Office Procedures, Coordination with Other Departments, Key Skills Required for Night Auditing, Common Challenges and Solutions.

Module 2: Front Office and Guest Service Operations: Late Check-in and Check-out Procedures, Handling Guest Requests and Emergencies, Verifying Room Status and Occupancy, Managing Guest Folios and Balances, Delivering Exceptional Overnight Guest Services, Recording Guest Complaints and Resolutions.

Module 3: Night Audit Procedures and Processes: End-of-Day Procedures and Cut-off Times, Posting Room Charges and Taxes, Verifying and Posting Non-Room Charges, Reconciling Cash, Credit Cards, and City Ledger, Balancing Transactions and Identifying Discrepancies, Preparing and Printing Night Audit Reports.

Module 4: Financial Controls and Reporting: Reviewing Daily Financial Transactions, Preparing Trial Balance and Revenue Reports, Monitoring No-show and Cancellation Charges, Recording and Reporting Variances, Submitting Audit Summary to Management, Using PMS and Financial Software for Reporting.

Module 5: Security, Safety and Emergency Procedures: Monitoring Property Security Systems, Conducting Nightly Safety Checks, Emergency Response Protocols (Fire, Medical, Theft), Guest Privacy and Data Protection, Logging Incidents and Reporting, Coordination with Security and Local Authorities.

Module 6: Technology and Professional Development: Using PMS and POS Systems for Night Audit, Troubleshooting Technical Issues, Data Backup and System Shutdown Procedures, Continuous Learning and Cross-Training, Ethics and Confidentiality in Night Auditing, Career Pathways and Advancement Opportunities.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
