Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Nutrition Specialist course is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge of nutrition science, metabolism, and the role of nutrients in maintaining health and preventing disease. The program covers topics such as biochemistry, physiology, dietary assessment, medical nutrition therapy, weight management, supplementation, and integrative approaches to wellness.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Nutrition Science: Overview of Nutrition, Role of a Nutrition Specialist, Key Terminology and Concepts, Importance of Nutrition in Health and Disease Prevention, Core Nutrients and Their Functions, Ethical and Professional Considerations

Module 2: Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Metabolism: Digestive System Structure and Function, Metabolic Pathways and Energy Production, Macronutrient and Micronutrient Metabolism, Endocrine and Hormonal Regulation, Cardiovascular and Musculoskeletal Considerations, Application of Physiology in Nutrition Planning

Module 3: Nutritional Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting Dietary and Lifestyle Assessments, Anthropometric Measurements, Biochemical and Laboratory Testing, Assessing Nutritional Needs Across Lifespan, Identifying Deficiencies and Risk Factors, Interpreting Data for Personalized Plans

Module 4: Therapeutic Nutrition and Intervention: Medical Nutrition Therapy Principles, Nutrition for Chronic Diseases (Diabetes, Heart Disease, Obesity), Weight Management and Metabolic Health, Sports and Performance Nutrition, Designing Individualized Meal Plans, Monitoring and Adjusting Interventions

Module 5: Special Populations and Lifestyle Considerations: Pediatric and Adolescent Nutrition, Maternal and Prenatal Nutrition, Geriatric and Aging Nutrition, Nutrition for Immunity and Mental Health, Culturally Sensitive Dietary Approaches, Lifestyle Modification Strategies

Module 6: Professional Practice and Client Management: Communication and Counseling Techniques, Ethical and Legal Standards in Nutrition Practice, Client Education and Engagement, Documentation and Progress Tracking, Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals, Career Development and Continuing Education

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
