Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 1 year of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Yoga for Wellness Instructor course is designed to train individuals to teach yoga practices that promote overall health, well-being, and balance in daily life. The course covers a variety of yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation practices, and mindfulness exercises tailored to enhance physical fitness, mental clarity, emotional stability, and stress management.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Foundations of Yoga for Wellness: History and philosophy of yoga, Principles of wellness and holistic health, Benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and emotional well-being, Ethics and professional conduct, Overview of yoga styles for wellness, Mind-body connection and awareness

Module 2: Yoga Asanas and Techniques for Wellness: Core yoga postures for strength and flexibility, Gentle and therapeutic poses, Breath integration with asanas, Use of props and modifications for safety, Sequencing yoga sessions for wellness, Alignments and injury prevention

Module 3: Pranayama and Breathwork for Wellness: Fundamentals of pranayama, Breath techniques for relaxation and stress reduction, Energizing and calming breath practices, Therapeutic applications of pranayama, Integrating breathwork into sessions, Contraindications and safety guidelines

Module 4: Meditation and Mindfulness Practices: Guided meditation techniques, Mindfulness for stress management, Visualization and body scan practices, Breath-meditation integration, Techniques to enhance focus and emotional balance, Structuring meditation sessions for wellness

Module 5: Anatomy, Physiology, and Wellness: Human musculoskeletal and nervous systems in yoga practice, Effects of yoga on cardiovascular and respiratory systems, Understanding energy channels and chakras, Preventing injuries and adapting practices, Functional anatomy for wellness, Holistic assessment of participant needs

Module 6: Teaching Methodology and Professional Development: Planning and structuring wellness yoga sessions, Effective communication and guidance skills, Adapting classes for diverse participants, Creating safe and supportive environments, Marketing, leadership, and building a yoga community, Continuous learning and professional growth

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
