The program covers behavior analysis, assessment techniques, intervention planning, data collection, and monitoring progress to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Positive Behavior Support (PBS): Foundations and principles of PBS, Understanding behavior and its functions, Importance of person-centered approaches, Overview of the PBS framework, Key terminology and concepts, Ethical considerations in PBS.

Module 2: Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA): Purpose and process of FBA, Collecting and analyzing behavior data, Identifying antecedents, behaviors, and consequences, Conducting interviews and observations, Developing hypotheses about behavior functions, Documenting and reporting FBA findings.

Module 3: Designing Behavior Support Plans: Components of effective behavior support plans, Setting measurable behavior goals, Selecting evidence-based interventions, Teaching replacement behaviors, Incorporating environmental modifications, Collaborating with stakeholders in plan development.

Module 4: Implementation Strategies and Techniques: Strategies for proactive behavior support, Teaching social and communication skills, Reinforcement and motivation techniques, Crisis prevention and intervention, Monitoring fidelity of plan implementation, Using data to guide ongoing support.

Module 5: Team Collaboration and Communication: Working with families and caregivers, Interdisciplinary team roles, Effective communication strategies, Conflict resolution in behavior support teams, Training and coaching staff, Promoting consistency across environments.

Module 6: Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Measuring behavior change and outcomes, Data collection and analysis methods, Adjusting support plans based on data, Reporting progress to stakeholders, Ethical considerations in data use, Professional development and staying current with PBS practices.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
