Description

Course Name: Certified Resort Hospitality Specialist

Global Occupational Skill Standard – GOSS ID: GOSS/HT/CRHS/V1

Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 1 year of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: This course is designed to equip hospitality professionals with the knowledge and skills required to manage resort operations effectively. Participants will learn about front-office management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, recreational and wellness facilities, guest experience enhancement, and resort-specific operational challenges.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Resort Hospitality: Overview of resort management, Types of resorts and market segments, Key roles and responsibilities of resort managers, Trends and innovations in resort hospitality, Understanding guest expectations in resorts, Challenges and opportunities in resort operations

Module 2: Guest Experience & Service Excellence: Designing memorable guest experiences, Personalization and tailored services, Guest journey mapping in resort settings, Handling special requests and VIP guests, Service standards and quality assurance, Monitoring guest satisfaction and feedback

Module 3: Resort Operations & Facilities Management: Front office and concierge operations, Housekeeping and maintenance management, Food & beverage operations and banquet services, Recreation, spa, and leisure facility management, Health, safety, and regulatory compliance, Technology integration in resort operations

Module 4: Marketing, Sales & Customer Engagement: Resort branding and positioning strategies, Digital marketing and social media promotion, Customer relationship management and loyalty programs, Event and activity promotion, Market research and competitive analysis, Guest engagement and experiential marketing

Module 5: Revenue Management & Financial Planning: Revenue management strategies for resorts, Dynamic pricing and occupancy optimization, Budgeting and cost control, Performance metrics and financial reporting, Profitability analysis and forecasting, Investment planning and asset management

Module 6: Leadership, Strategy & Sustainability: Leadership and team management in resorts, Strategic planning and operational alignment, Staff training and development programs, Crisis management and problem-solving strategies, Sustainable practices and eco-friendly initiatives, Continuous improvement and innovation in resort management

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
