Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Retail Operations: Overview of retail formats and business models, Key responsibilities of a retail operations manager, Store layout and design principles, Retail workflow and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Customer service excellence in retail, Role of technology in retail operations.
Module 2: Store Management and Supervision: Staff scheduling and shift management, Daily store operations checklist, Visual merchandising and display management, Handling customer complaints and feedback, Store safety, hygiene, and loss prevention, Store opening and closing procedures.
Module 3: Inventory and Stock Control: Inventory planning and forecasting, Stock replenishment techniques, Barcode and POS system integration, Cycle counting and stock audits, Managing shrinkage and pilferage, Seasonal stock and clearance management.
Module 4: Retail Sales and Performance Management: Sales targets and KPI tracking, Sales team motivation and performance evaluation, In-store promotions and upselling techniques, Customer engagement and loyalty programs, Analyzing sales reports and dashboards, Cross-selling and bundling strategies.
Module 5: Vendor and Supply Chain Coordination: Procurement planning and order cycle, Supplier relationship and negotiation, Delivery scheduling and receiving goods, Stock transit and inter-store transfers, Returns, damages, and reverse logistics, Coordination with warehouse and distribution centers.
Module 6: Financial and Compliance Management in Retail: Retail budgeting and cost control, Cash register and billing procedures, Daily sales reconciliation and reporting, GST, taxation and retail compliance, Store audit and documentation practices, Risk mitigation and legal considerations in retail.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
