Objective: The Certified Risk Professional course is designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive understanding of risk management principles, tools, and best practices. Participants will learn to proactively identify potential risks across financial, operational, strategic, regulatory, and reputational areas. The program emphasizes risk assessment techniques, the development of risk mitigation strategies, regulatory compliance, and the integration of risk management into corporate governance. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Risk Management: Definition and types of risk, Risk management principles and frameworks, Risk management process overview, Role of a risk manager, Regulatory and compliance landscape, Corporate governance and risk oversight.

Module 2: Risk Identification and Assessment: Risk identification techniques (SWOT, interviews, checklists), Risk classification (strategic, operational, financial, compliance), Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, Risk likelihood and impact analysis, Risk mapping and heat maps, Risk appetite and tolerance.

Module 3: Risk Control and Mitigation Strategies: Risk avoidance, reduction, sharing, and retention, Internal controls and risk mitigation plans, Developing risk response strategies, Business continuity and contingency planning, Crisis management planning, Monitoring control effectiveness.

Module 4: Financial and Operational Risk Management: Market and credit risk fundamentals, Liquidity and interest rate risk, Operational risk (process, people, systems), Insurance and risk transfer mechanisms, Fraud risk management, Financial modeling for risk scenarios.

Module 5: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): Overview of ERM frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000), Integrating ERM into business strategy, Risk culture and organizational alignment, Risk-based decision-making, ERM reporting and communication, Role of leadership in ERM success.

Module 6: Risk Monitoring, Reporting, and Compliance: Key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics, Risk dashboards and reporting tools, Regulatory compliance and audit interface, Risk documentation and record keeping, Continuous improvement in risk processes, Technology and tools in risk management.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
