Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Telehealth Coordinator / Telemedicine Professional course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to manage and support virtual healthcare delivery systems. The course covers the fundamentals of telehealth and telemedicine, including technology platforms, remote patient monitoring, appointment coordination, digital documentation, cybersecurity, and patient privacy (HIPAA compliance or equivalent).
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Telehealth and Telemedicine: Definition, scope, and evolution of telehealth and telemedicine, Differences between telehealth, telemedicine, and digital health, Benefits and challenges of virtual healthcare delivery, Key stakeholders and service models in telemedicine, Common use cases: remote consultations, chronic care, mental health, Regulatory bodies and global/national policies (e.g., MCI/NMC guidelines in India).
Module 2: Telehealth Technology, Platforms and Infrastructure: Overview of telemedicine equipment and software tools, Requirements for setting up telehealth systems (hardware, bandwidth, devices), Features of common telehealth platforms (EHR integration, video, chat, e-prescriptions), Data storage, encryption, and cyber security basics, Troubleshooting basic technical issues and user support, Telehealth software training and onboarding.
Module 3: Workflow Management and Service Coordination: Scheduling and managing virtual appointments, Patient onboarding and consent procedures, Coordination between physicians, specialists, and allied health staff, Managing remote monitoring and follow-up protocols, Documentation, billing, and coding in telehealth systems, Handling emergencies and referrals in virtual care.
Module 4: Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Compliance: Telemedicine practice guidelines and teleconsultation protocols, Informed consent and patient privacy in virtual care, HIPAA, GDPR, and Indian IT Act compliance for data protection, Licensure and jurisdictional issues in telehealth practice, Managing medico-legal risks and malpractice concerns, Recordkeeping and audit-readiness in telehealth environments.
Module 5: Patient Communication and Digital Etiquette: Building rapport and trust through virtual communication, Managing patient expectations and concerns remotely, Digital communication etiquette for providers and coordinators, Handling language barriers and accessibility challenges, Educating patients about using telemedicine tools and apps, Feedback collection and quality improvement from virtual patients.
Module 6: Quality Assurance, Training and Future Trends: Telehealth quality metrics and outcome evaluation, Staff training programs and capacity building for virtual care, Integration with AI, wearable devices, and remote diagnostics, Public health and rural outreach through telemedicine, Innovations in mobile health (mHealth) and home-based care, Career advancement and certification opportunities in telehealth and eHealth.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
