Objective: The Certified Travel Technology Specialist course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize and manage technology solutions specific to the travel industry. The program covers travel booking systems, global distribution systems (GDS), online travel agencies (OTA), mobile travel applications, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain in travel. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Travel Technology and Industry Overview: Evolution of technology in the travel and tourism industry, Role of a Travel Technology Specialist in modern travel businesses, Understanding the digital travel ecosystem: OTAs, GDS, DMCs, and aggregators, Key industry platforms and stakeholders: airlines, hotels, cruise, rail, buses, Importance of tech-driven solutions in enhancing customer experience and operations, Overview of B2B and B2C travel technology applications.

Module 2: Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and CRS Platforms: Introduction to major GDS platforms: Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan, Functionality of GDS: flight search, fare rules, PNR creation, ticketing, Overview of Central Reservation Systems (CRS) for hotels and tour operators, Integration of GDS/CRS with travel websites and booking engines, Hands-on usage of GDS terminals and back-end tools, Advantages and limitations of GDS in the era of direct bookings.

Module 3: Online Travel Portals, APIs, and Booking Engines: Structure and function of B2C/B2B online travel portals, Working with APIs for flights, hotels, packages, car rentals, buses, XML/JSON-based API integration and documentation understanding, Role of meta-search engines and aggregator platforms, Customizing booking engines for UX, filters, and payment options, Introduction to white-label and SaaS solutions for travel companies.

Module 4: Travel CRM, ERP, and Back-Office Automation: Importance of CRM in managing travel leads, follow-ups, and client retention, ERP solutions for finance, HR, operations, and inventory in travel businesses, Lead management and itinerary building tools for travel agents, Integration of CRM/ERP with marketing automation and feedback tools, Reporting and analytics dashboards for business insights, Automating quotations, invoicing, and post-sale communication.

Module 5: Cybersecurity, Payments, and Compliance in Travel Tech: Digital payments in travel: gateways, wallets, UPI, forex integration, Ensuring data security, encryption, and PCI-DSS compliance, Managing traveler data privacy in accordance with GDPR and local laws, Fraud prevention in bookings, ticketing, and customer communication, Securing API endpoints, login credentials, and access control, Handling chargebacks, refunds, and cancellation automation.

Module 6: Emerging Technologies and Future of Travel Tech: AI and ML applications: dynamic pricing, recommendation engines, chatbots, Blockchain for secure ticketing, loyalty programs, and identity verification, Virtual and Augmented Reality in immersive travel planning and previews, IoT applications: smart luggage, location tracking, and travel personalization, Mobile-first design and progressive web apps for travel booking, Trends in sustainable, inclusive, and experiential travel technology platforms.
