Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Vinyasa Yoga Trainer course is to train individuals in the dynamic and creative practice of Vinyasa Yoga, emphasizing breath-synchronized movement, intelligent sequencing, and mindful alignment. The course is designed to develop confident and competent yoga instructors who can guide students through safe, engaging, and adaptable Vinyasa flow classes. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga: History and Evolution of Vinyasa Yoga, The Concept of Flow and Breath in Vinyasa, Key Principles of Vinyasa Practice, Understanding the Link Between Movement and Breath, The Role of Vinyasa in Modern Yoga, Benefits of Vinyasa Yoga for Physical and Mental Health.

Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology in Vinyasa Yoga: Basic Anatomy for Vinyasa Teachers, The Musculoskeletal System and Vinyasa Movements, The Role of the Nervous System in Flow, Understanding Alignment and Joint Health in Flowing Sequences, The Cardiovascular System and Vinyasa Practice, Injury Prevention and Adaptation for Students.

Module 3: Vinyasa Sequencing and Class Design: Creating Dynamic Sequences with Breath and Movement, The Structure of a Vinyasa Class (Warm-up, Flow, Cool Down), Understanding Peak Poses and How to Sequence for Them, The Use of Themes and Intention in Vinyasa Classes, Modifying Sequences for Different Levels, Integrating Pranayama and Meditation into Vinyasa.

Module 4: Asanas and Transitions in Vinyasa Yoga: Key Vinyasa Asanas (Chaturanga, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, Downward Dog, etc.), Proper Alignment and Technique in Core Postures, The Importance of Fluid Transitions Between Poses, Building Strength and Flexibility through Vinyasa, Modifying Asanas for Injuries or Limitations, Teaching Common Vinyasa Flow Sequences.

Module 5: Breathwork, Pranayama, and Mindfulness in Vinyasa: The Science of Ujjayi Pranayama in Vinyasa Flow, Coordinating Breath with Movement in Flowing Sequences, Breathing Techniques for Stress Relief and Focus, Cultivating Mindfulness and Present Moment Awareness, Integrating Breath and Movement into a Unified Practice, Breath as a Tool for Deepening Practice and Enhancing Energy.

Module 6: Teaching Methodology, Ethics, and Student Care: Developing Effective Communication Skills as a Vinyasa Teacher, Observing and Adjusting Students’ Postures, Creating a Safe and Inclusive Environment in Class, Ethical Considerations: Boundaries, Compassion, and Professionalism, How to Offer Modifications and Variations for All Levels, Continuing Education and Personal Practice for Growth as a Teacher.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
