Global Occupational Skill Standard – GOSS ID: GOSS/ET/CWRSKT/V1

Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Workforce Readiness & Soft Skills Trainer course is designed to equip trainers and educators with the knowledge and instructional skills needed to prepare individuals for successful entry and advancement in the workforce. The course focuses on essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, time management, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Workforce Readiness and Soft Skills: Definition and importance of workforce readiness, Overview of essential soft skills, Role of a soft skills trainer, Understanding employer expectations, The connection between soft skills and job success, Ethical considerations in training.

Module 2: Communication Skills Development: Verbal and non-verbal communication, Active listening techniques, Professional writing skills, Presentation and public speaking, Interpersonal communication, Cross-cultural communication awareness.

Module 3: Teamwork and Collaboration: Principles of effective teamwork, Building trust and rapport, Conflict resolution strategies, Collaborative problem-solving, Roles and responsibilities in teams, Encouraging diversity and inclusion in teams.

Module 4: Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Understanding critical thinking, Analytical skills development, Creative problem-solving techniques, Decision-making processes, Applying critical thinking in workplace scenarios, Teaching methods to enhance these skills.

Module 5: Time Management and Work Ethics: Prioritization and goal setting, Managing workplace stress, Professionalism and work ethics, Accountability and responsibility, Adaptability and flexibility, Balancing work-life demands.

Module 6: Training Design, Delivery, and Evaluation: Developing effective training programs, Adult learning principles, Engaging training delivery techniques, Using assessments and feedback, Evaluating training impact, Continuous improvement and professional growth.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
