Objective: The Professional Diploma in Horticulture Management aims to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills required for the scientific production and management of horticultural crops. The program focuses on fruit, vegetable, flower, and plantation crop production, nursery management, protected cultivation, post-harvest handling, and modern horticultural practices. Duration: 6 Months / 370 Hours

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your Course you want to pursue.

Step 3: Click on pay Course fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay course fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the Digital(PDF) copy of your Diploma & Marksheet will be sent to your registered email ID within 7 days.

Module 2: Fruit Crop Production and Management: Principles of Fruit Crop Cultivation, Selection of Fruit Crop Varieties, Orchard Establishment and Management, Nursery Management in Fruit Crops, Propagation Techniques of Fruit Plants, Nutrient Management in Fruit Orchards, Irrigation Management in Fruit Crops, Pest and Disease Management, Harvesting and Post-Harvest Handling, Commercial Fruit Production Practices.

Module 3: Vegetable and Spice Crop Management: Vegetable Crop Production Techniques, Classification of Vegetable Crops, Seed Production and Nursery Raising, Protected Vegetable Cultivation, Organic Vegetable Production, Nutrient Management in Vegetables, Irrigation and Water Management, Weed and Pest Management, Spice Crop Production Practices, Harvesting and Storage of Vegetables and Spices.

Module 4: Floriculture and Landscape Management: Principles of Floriculture, Commercial Flower Production, Ornamental Plant Cultivation, Nursery and Plant Propagation Management, Greenhouse and Polyhouse Cultivation, Flower Crop Nutrition Management, Pest and Disease Control in Flower Crops, Post-Harvest Management of Flowers, Landscape Designing Principles, Garden Management Practices.

Module 5: Horticultural Business and Value Addition: Horticultural Marketing Systems, Supply Chain Management of Horticultural Products, Post-Harvest Technology, Processing and Preservation of Horticultural Produce, Packaging and Storage Techniques, Quality Standards and Certification, Export Opportunities in Horticulture, Horticultural Entrepreneurship, Farm Business Planning, Value Addition of Horticultural Products.

Module 6: Modern Technologies and Practical Applications in Horticulture: Precision Horticulture Technologies, Smart Irrigation Systems, Digital Tools in Horticulture Management, Protected Cultivation Technologies, Climate-Smart Horticulture, Integrated Pest Management, Sustainable Resource Management, Horticulture Project Planning, Field Training and Demonstration, Research and Innovation in Horticulture.
