Objective: The Professional Diploma in Jewellery Design aims to develop creative and skilled jewellery designers with knowledge of design concepts, gemstones, materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry practices. The course enhances skills in jewellery sketching, CAD design, trend analysis, product development, and craftsmanship. Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the Digital(PDF) copy of your Diploma & Marksheet will be sent to your registered email ID within 7 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Jewellery Design: Introduction to Jewellery Design, History and Evolution of Jewellery, Jewellery Design Principles, Elements of Design, Types of Jewellery, Traditional and Contemporary Jewellery Styles, Jewellery Terminology, Design Inspiration and Concept Development, Role of a Jewellery Designer, Professional Ethics in Jewellery Industry.

Module 2: Gemology and Precious Materials: Introduction to Gemology, Classification of Gemstones, Identification of Precious and Semi-Precious Stones, Diamond Grading and Certification, Properties of Metals, Gold and Silver Characteristics, Platinum and Alternative Metals, Gemstone Cutting and Polishing, Jewellery Material Selection, Care and Maintenance of Gemstones.

Module 3: Jewellery Drawing and Design Techniques: Basics of Jewellery Sketching, Technical Drawing Methods, Rendering Techniques, Perspective Drawing, Design Composition, Colour Application in Jewellery Design, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Basics, 3D Jewellery Visualization, Design Portfolio Development, Presentation Techniques.

Module 4: Jewellery Manufacturing and Production: Jewellery Manufacturing Processes, Traditional Jewellery Making Techniques, Casting Methods, Fabrication Techniques, Stone Setting Methods, Soldering and Finishing Techniques, Engraving and Enamelling, Quality Control in Jewellery Production, Jewellery Tools and Equipment, Production Planning and Management.

Module 5: Jewellery Business and Market Management: Jewellery Market Analysis, Jewellery Branding Strategies, Product Development and Collection Planning, Jewellery Pricing Methods, Retail Jewellery Management, Customer Buying Behaviour, Jewellery Marketing Techniques, Export and Import Procedures, E-Commerce for Jewellery Business, Entrepreneurship in Jewellery Industry.

Module 6: Advanced Jewellery Design Practices: Contemporary Jewellery Trends, Sustainable Jewellery Practices, Custom Jewellery Design, Luxury Jewellery Concepts, Fashion Jewellery Development, Jewellery Photography and Presentation, Industry Software Applications, Jewellery Exhibition and Portfolio Display, Internship and Practical Training, Final Jewellery Design Project.
