Objective: The Professional Diploma in Material Management is designed to provide learners with essential knowledge and practical skills in managing materials, inventory, and supply chain operations. Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the Digital(PDF) copy of your Diploma & Marksheet will be sent to your registered email ID within 7 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Material Management: Introduction to Material Management, Scope and Objectives of Material Management, Importance of Materials in Industrial Operations, Functions of Material Management, Material Management Organization Structure, Role and Responsibilities of Material Manager, Material Classification and Codification, Standardization and Simplification of Materials, Material Specification and Identification, Coordination of Material Management Activities.
Module 2: Material Planning and Procurement Management: Concepts of Material Planning, Demand Forecasting Methods, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Material Budgeting and Scheduling, Procurement Planning, Purchase Requisition Process, Supplier Selection and Evaluation, Purchase Order Processing, Lead Time Reduction Techniques, Procurement Documentation and Control.
Module 3: Inventory Management and Control: Inventory Management Concepts, Types of Inventory, Inventory Classification Techniques (ABC, VED, FSN, HML), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Level and Safety Stock Calculation, Inventory Control Techniques, Stock Monitoring Systems, Inventory Turnover Analysis, Excess and Obsolete Inventory Control, Inventory Cost Management.
Module 4: Stores Management and Warehouse Operations: Functions of Stores Department, Store Location and Layout Planning, Material Receiving Procedures, Inspection and Quality Checking of Materials, Storage Systems and Methods, Material Preservation Techniques, Bin Card and Store Ledger Management, Material Issue and Return Procedures, Stock Verification Methods, Store Safety and Security Management.
Module 5: Logistics and Supply Chain Integration: Introduction to Logistics Management, Transportation Planning and Control, Material Movement Systems, Warehouse and Distribution Management, Packaging and Handling of Materials, Supply Chain Coordination, Supplier and Vendor Coordination, Reverse Logistics Management, Logistics Cost Control, Supply Chain Performance Improvement.
Module 6: Advanced Material Management Techniques: Materials Information System (MIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Material Management, Computerized Inventory Management, Just-in-Time (JIT) Inventory System, Lean Material Management, Six Sigma Applications in Material Operations, Green Material Management Practices, International Material Management, Material Cost Optimization Strategies, Emerging Trends and Future Scope of Material Management.
