Objective: The Professional Diploma in Office Documentation is designed to provide students with practical knowledge of document creation, office procedures, record keeping, and professional communication. It focuses on developing skills in preparing reports, managing files, maintaining records, using office software, and handling digital documentation efficiently. The course prepares learners to manage office documents effectively and develop professional skills required for administrative, clerical, and documentation support roles.

Duration: 6 Months / 370 Hours

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your Course you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get Enroll Now tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay Course fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay course fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the Digital(PDF) copy of your Diploma & Marksheet will be sent to your registered email ID within 7 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Office Documentation: Basics and importance of office documentation, Role of documentation in business operations, Types of office documents, Document creation and management principles, Office documentation procedures, Document lifecycle and workflow, Professional standards for documentation, Importance of accuracy and confidentiality, Document organization and classification, Career opportunities in office documentation.

Module 2: Computer Fundamentals and Document Processing: Computer basics and operating system concepts, Hardware and software components, File and folder management, Keyboard and typing skills, Microsoft Word interface and features, Creating and editing documents, Text formatting and page layout, Tables and graphics in documents, Printing and document sharing options, Digital document processing techniques.

Module 3: Advanced Document Creation and Formatting: Advanced Microsoft Word tools, Styles and templates creation, Headers, footers and page numbering, Mail merge and bulk document preparation, Creating professional reports and letters, Document review and editing tools, Proofreading and correction techniques, Formatting business documents, Creating forms and official records, Document conversion and PDF management.

Module 4: Office Records and Data Management: Principles of record management, Filing systems and classification methods, Document storage and retrieval procedures, Maintaining office registers and records, Data entry and information organization, Spreadsheet documentation using Microsoft Excel, Creating reports and data summaries, Database documentation basics, Record maintenance and updating methods, Archiving and disposal of documents.

Module 5: Digital Documentation and Office Technology: Digital document management systems, Cloud-based document storage, Email documentation and communication, Online collaboration tools, Electronic forms and applications, Scanning and digitization of documents, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, Data security and document protection, Backup and recovery procedures, Modern office automation tools.

Module 6: Professional Documentation Skills and Workplace Management: Business communication and writing skills, Preparing official letters and notices, Meeting minutes and agenda preparation, Report writing techniques, Professional presentation documentation, Time management in documentation tasks, Quality control and accuracy checking, Workplace ethics and confidentiality, Team coordination and documentation workflow, Career development in office documentation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 120 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 60.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 10.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks Above 40%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
