Objective: The Professional Diploma in Paint Technology Fundamentals aims to develop professionals with fundamental knowledge of paint materials, surface preparation, coating techniques, colour technology, application methods, and quality control practices. Module 3: Surface Preparation and Paint Application: Importance of Surface Preparation, Surface Cleaning Methods, Priming Techniques, Paint Application Tools and Equipment, Brush and Roller Application Methods, Spray Painting Techniques, Industrial Coating Application, Decorative Painting Methods, Drying and Curing Processes, Paint Application Defect Prevention.

Module 4: Paint Testing and Quality Control: Fundamentals of Paint Testing, Viscosity Testing Methods, Drying Time and Curing Tests, Adhesion Testing Procedures, Colour and Gloss Measurement, Hardness and Durability Testing, Paint Film Thickness Measurement, Weather Resistance Testing, Quality Control Procedures, Paint Inspection and Documentation.

Module 5: Industrial Coatings and Maintenance Practices: Introduction to Industrial Coatings, Protective Coating Systems, Metal Surface Coatings, Anti-Corrosion Paint Applications, Automotive Paint Technology Basics, Wood and Plastic Coatings, Building Paint Applications, Paint Maintenance and Repair Techniques, Environmental Considerations in Coatings, Safe Handling of Paint Materials.
