Objective: The objective of the Professional Diploma in Payroll Administration is to develop practical knowledge and skills required to manage accurate and efficient payroll operations. The course provides an understanding of payroll processes, salary structures, attendance and leave management, statutory compliance, deductions, payroll documentation, and reporting. It focuses on building payroll management capabilities and preparing learners to handle payroll functions effectively while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.

Duration: 6 Months / 370 Hours

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Module 2: Salary Structure and Payroll Processing Components of Salary Structure, Basic Pay and Allowances, Gross Salary and Net Salary Calculation, Payroll Input Management, Attendance and Leave Integration, Overtime and Shift Allowance Calculation, Incentives and Bonus Processing, Deductions and Adjustments, Payroll Processing Workflow, Payslip Preparation and Distribution.

Module 3: Statutory Compliance and Tax Management Payroll Related Labor Laws, Provident Fund (PF) Compliance, Employee State Insurance (ESI) Compliance, Professional Tax Regulations, Income Tax Deduction and TDS Calculation, Gratuity and Bonus Act Compliance, Minimum Wages and Payment Regulations, Statutory Reports and Returns, Payroll Audit and Compliance Checks, Legal Documentation Management.

Module 4: Payroll Software and Automation Introduction to Payroll Software, Human Resource Management System (HRMS), Payroll Software Configuration, Employee Database Management, Automated Payroll Processing, Leave and Attendance Management Systems, Payroll Data Security, Integration with Accounting Systems, Payroll Reports and Analytics, Emerging Payroll Technologies.

Module 5: Payroll Accounting and Financial Management Payroll Accounting Principles, Salary Expense Management, Payroll Journal Entries, Cost Center and Department Wise Payroll, Reconciliation of Payroll Data, Payroll Budgeting and Forecasting, Employee Benefit Accounting, Final Settlement Calculation, Payroll Cost Analysis, Financial Reporting for Payroll.
