This course covers advanced topics such as secure CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure as code (IaC) security, container and orchestration security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to DevSecOps and Security Foundations: DevSecOps principles and culture, Differences between DevOps, SecOps, and DevSecOps, Security challenges in CI/CD pipelines, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) security integration, Risk management and threat modeling, Security compliance and governance basics.

Module 2: Secure Software Development and Testing: Secure coding standards and practices, Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools and techniques, Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA) for third-party libraries, Automated security testing in CI/CD, Vulnerability assessment and remediation.

Module 3: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation Security: Introduction to IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), Securing IaC templates and scripts, Configuration management security (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), Secrets management and vault integration, Policy as Code enforcement, Continuous compliance monitoring.

Module 4: Container Security and Orchestration: Container security fundamentals, Image scanning and vulnerability management, Runtime security and access control, Kubernetes security best practices and hardening, Network policies and service mesh security, Monitoring and logging for container environments.

Module 5: Continuous Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) integration, Automated alerting and incident workflows, Log aggregation and analysis, Threat intelligence platforms, Penetration testing and red teaming concepts, Incident response planning and execution.

Module 6: DevSecOps Implementation and Best Practices: Building a DevSecOps pipeline from scratch, Toolchain selection and integration, Metrics and KPIs for DevSecOps success, Security culture and team collaboration, Case studies and real-world implementations, Future trends in DevSecOps and emerging technologies.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
