The program focuses on developing competencies in areas such as store operations, inventory control, staff supervision, visual merchandising, sales optimization, and customer relationship management.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Retail and Store Operations: Overview of retail formats and store types, Role and responsibilities of a store manager, Key elements of store operations, Customer journey and store experience, Coordination between store departments, Legal and regulatory compliance in retail.

Module 2: Store Layout, Design and Merchandising: Principles of store layout and traffic flow, Effective product placement and zoning, Visual merchandising fundamentals, Signage, lighting, and display planning, Store ambiance and sensory marketing, Seasonal and promotional display strategies.

Module 3: Inventory and Stock Management: Stock replenishment methods and techniques, Inventory control and loss prevention, Stocktaking and cycle counting, FIFO, LIFO, and stock rotation methods, Technology tools for inventory tracking, Managing overstocks and out-of-stocks.

Module 4: Staff Management and Training: Workforce planning and shift scheduling, Staff recruitment and onboarding, Performance appraisal and motivation techniques, Conflict resolution and team management, Training and development programs, Leadership and communication skills for store managers.

Module 5: Sales, Customer Service and Marketing: Sales planning and target achievement strategies, Techniques for upselling and cross-selling, Handling customer complaints and returns, Loyalty programs and customer engagement, In-store marketing campaigns and promotions, Measuring and improving customer satisfaction.

Module 6: Store Performance Analysis and Reporting: Key retail performance metrics (KPIs), Budgeting and cost control in store management, Daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting, Analyzing footfall and conversion rates, Data-driven decision making using dashboards, Strategic planning for sales and growth.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
