Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Quantity Surveying: Role and responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor, Construction industry overview, Contractual and legal framework basics, Project lifecycle understanding, Types of construction documents, Measurement principles and terminology

Module 2: Construction Materials and Methods: Properties of construction materials, Methods of construction for buildings and infrastructure, Material take-off techniques, Productivity and wastage factors, Construction technology trends, Health and safety considerations in construction methods

Module 3: Measurement and Estimation: Standard Methods of Measurement (SMM/NRM), Detailed quantity take-off procedures, Estimating direct and indirect costs, Rate analysis and pricing, Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Use of digital tools and software for measurement

Module 4: Contracts and Procurement: Types of construction contracts, Tendering and bidding procedures, Procurement strategies and supply management, Pre-contract documentation and evaluation, Risk allocation in contracts, Contract administration practices

Module 5: Cost Management and Control: Budgeting and cost planning, Cash flow forecasting, Cost monitoring during project execution, Variations and change order management, Cost reporting and record keeping, Value engineering and cost optimization

Module 6: Project Management and Professional Practice: Project scheduling basics, Communication and coordination on site, Quality assurance and compliance, Dispute resolution methods, Ethical and professional standards, Final account preparation and project close-out

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
