Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in HVAC Duct Installation course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC duct systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to HVAC Systems: Role and responsibilities of an HVAC duct installer, Overview of HVAC system components, Types of duct systems (rigid, flexible, and modular), Basic principles of air distribution, Importance of HVAC in building comfort and efficiency, Safety and regulatory considerations

Module 2: Materials and Tools for Duct Installation: Common materials used in duct fabrication (sheet metal, fiberglass, flexible ducts), Selection criteria based on project requirements, Tools and equipment for duct cutting, bending, and installation, Maintenance and care of tools, Handling and storage of duct materials, Cost and efficiency considerations

Module 3: Duct Design and Layout: Reading and interpreting HVAC drawings and schematics, Planning duct routes and layouts, Calculating airflow and duct sizing, Integration with other building systems (electrical, plumbing, structural), Load balancing and pressure drop considerations, Coordination with engineers and project managers

Module 4: Installation Techniques: Step-by-step duct assembly and installation procedures, Hanging, supporting, and bracing ducts, Joining methods (seams, screws, and sealants), Insulation and sealing techniques, Installation of diffusers, registers, and grilles, Adjustments for complex building structures

Module 5: Testing, Quality, and Safety: Inspection of installed ducts for alignment and integrity, Airflow testing and balancing, Leak detection and sealing, Safety protocols and PPE usage, Risk assessment and hazard mitigation, Maintenance practices for long-term performance
