Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Primavera Project Planning course is to provide in-depth training on using Oracle Primavera P6 for comprehensive project scheduling and control. The course covers project setup, work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequencing, resource allocation, baseline management, progress tracking, and reporting.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Primavera P6 and Project Management: Overview of Primavera P6 software and interface, Understanding project management fundamentals, Setting up enterprise project structure (EPS), Creating and managing projects, Defining project calendars and working times, Navigating the Primavera environment and workspace.

Module 2: Activity Definition and Scheduling: Creating and organizing activities, Defining activity durations and types, Establishing activity relationships and dependencies, Using milestones and constraints, Applying calendars to activities, Scheduling the project and understanding critical path method (CPM).

Module 3: Resource and Cost Management: Creating and assigning resources (labor, non-labor, materials), Managing resource calendars and availability, Resource leveling and allocation techniques, Defining and tracking project costs, Budgeting and cost control processes, Monitoring resource usage and cost variances.

Module 4: Baselines and Progress Tracking: Creating and maintaining project baselines, Updating progress and actual data, Tracking activity status and performance, Calculating schedule variances and performance indexes, Using Earned Value Management (EVM) in Primavera, Comparing baselines and current schedules.

Module 5: Reporting and Analysis: Generating standard and custom reports, Using dashboards and visual data presentations, Exporting data to Excel and other software, Analyzing project metrics and KPIs, Customizing filters, layouts, and views, Communication of project status to stakeholders.

Module 6: Collaboration and Advanced Features: Managing project portfolios and multiple projects, Role-based access and security settings, Integrating Primavera with other enterprise systems, Risk management and issue tracking, Using Primavera P6 Web and mobile versions, Tips and best practices for effective project planning.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
