Duration: Three Months.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Roofing Systems: Overview of roofing types and materials, Roles and responsibilities of a roofing technician, Understanding roofing terminology, Roof structure components, Basics of roof design and function, Safety standards in roofing work.

Module 2: Roofing Materials and Tools: Types of roofing materials (asphalt shingles, metal, tiles, membranes), Material properties and selection criteria, Roofing tools and equipment, Handling and storage of roofing materials, Environmental considerations, Material waste management.

Module 3: Roof Installation Techniques: Preparing the roof deck and substrate, Installing underlayment and vapor barriers, Application of roofing materials (shingles, membranes, tiles), Flashing installation and sealing, Roof ventilation methods, Ensuring waterproofing and insulation.

Module 4: Roof Repair and Maintenance: Common roof problems and damage types, Leak detection and diagnosis, Repairing damaged shingles, membranes, and flashing, Maintenance practices for roof longevity, Seasonal roof inspections, Documentation of repairs and maintenance.

Module 5: Safety Practices in Roofing: Working at heights and fall protection, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), Safe handling of tools and materials, Weather-related safety considerations, Emergency procedures on-site, Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Module 6: Quality Control and Customer Service: Ensuring workmanship quality, Inspection and testing of roofing installations, Handling customer inquiries and complaints, Communicating project status and recommendations, Time management and job site organization, Professional ethics and customer satisfaction.
