Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Scaffolding Operations course is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the assembly, maintenance, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures. The course covers types of scaffolds, safety standards, load calculations, hazard identification, fall protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Scaffolding; Overview of scaffolding types and uses, Roles and responsibilities of a scaffolder, Basic scaffolding terminology, Components and materials of scaffolding, Understanding scaffolding standards and regulations, Safety culture in scaffolding work.

Module 2: Scaffolding Materials and Equipment: Types of scaffolding materials (steel, aluminum, timber), Scaffolding components (tubes, couplers, boards), Tools and equipment used in scaffolding, Inspection of scaffolding materials, Handling and storage procedures, Maintenance of scaffolding equipment.

Module 3: Scaffolding Erection Techniques: Site preparation and hazard assessment, Assembling scaffolding structures, Ensuring stability and levelness, Use of bracing and ties, Access and egress provisions, Safety precautions during erection.

Module 4: Scaffolding Inspection and Maintenance: Daily and periodic inspections, Identifying defects and damage, Repairing and replacing scaffolding parts, Load capacity and weight limits, Documentation of inspections, Reporting unsafe conditions.

Module 5: Scaffolding Dismantling and Storage: Safe dismantling procedures, Sequence of dismantling, Handling and transporting scaffolding parts, Storage and inventory management, Environmental considerations, Safety during dismantling.

Module 6: Safety and Emergency Procedures: Hazards associated with scaffolding work, Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, Fall protection systems, Emergency response and rescue plans, Accident prevention strategies, Compliance with health and safety regulations.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.

• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
