Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Sustainable Construction Management course aims to provide professionals with the expertise to plan, manage, and oversee construction projects that adhere to sustainability principles. The course covers sustainable construction methodologies, materials selection, waste reduction, energy and water efficiency, site impact minimization, and compliance with green building certifications such as LEED, IGBC, and BREEAM

Get ready to join the Journey to become a GSDCI Certified Professional  – International Certification and Assessment Body.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Sustainable Construction: Principles of sustainable construction, Environmental impacts of construction activities, Sustainability frameworks and standards, Life cycle assessment (LCA) in construction, Green building rating systems (LEED, BREEAM, IGBC), Roles and responsibilities of a sustainable construction consultant.

Module 2: Sustainable Materials and Resource Management: Selection of sustainable construction materials, Recycled and renewable materials, Resource efficiency and waste reduction strategies, Sustainable sourcing and procurement, Construction waste management practices, Material health and toxicity considerations.

Module 3: Energy Efficiency in Construction: Energy-efficient construction techniques, Building envelope optimization, Integration of renewable energy systems, HVAC system design and efficiency, Energy modeling and simulation, Commissioning and performance verification.

Module 4: Water Conservation and Management: Water-efficient design and technologies, Rainwater harvesting and greywater reuse, Site water management and drainage, Water metering and leak detection, Sustainable landscaping and irrigation, Regulatory requirements for water conservation.

Module 5: Construction Site Practices and Safety: Sustainable site management practices, Minimizing site disturbance and erosion control, Pollution prevention and control, Health and safety in sustainable construction, Worker training and engagement, Monitoring and reporting site sustainability performance.

Module 6: Project Management and Professional Practice: Sustainable project planning and scheduling, Cost estimation and budgeting for sustainable projects, Stakeholder communication and collaboration, Documentation and certification processes, Ethical considerations and continuing education, Case studies and emerging trends in sustainable construction.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
