Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Commodity Trading: Definition and Scope of Commodity Trading, History and Evolution of Commodity Markets, Types of Commodities (Agri, Metals, Energy), Spot vs Derivatives Market, Role of Commodity Exchanges (MCX, NCDEX, COMEX), Regulatory Environment in Commodity Trading.

Module 2: Commodity Derivatives and Instruments: Futures and Options in Commodity Markets, Hedging, Speculation and Arbitrage Strategies, Pricing of Commodity Futures, Margin System and Daily Settlement, Delivery Mechanism and Contract Specifications, Clearing and Settlement Process.

Module 3: Technical and Fundamental Analysis: Introduction to Technical Analysis Tools, Chart Patterns and Indicators (RSI, MACD, Moving Averages), Candlestick Analysis and Trends, Fundamentals Impacting Commodities (Weather, Inventory, Demand-Supply), Economic Indicators and Reports, News Analysis and Sentiment Tracking.

Module 4: Risk Management and Hedging: Types of Risks in Commodity Trading, Value at Risk (VaR) and Risk Metrics, Use of Derivatives for Hedging Exposure, Risk Control Policies and Limits, Portfolio Diversification Techniques, Exchange and Counterparty Risk.

Module 5: Trading Strategies and Execution: Intraday and Positional Trading Strategies, Spread Trading and Arbitrage Opportunities, Order Types and Trade Execution, Algo Trading and Use of Technology, Trading Psychology and Discipline, Real-time Market Monitoring Tools.

Module 6: Compliance, Ethics and Global Perspective: Commodity Trading Regulations and SEBI Guidelines, Code of Conduct and Market Ethics, Insider Trading and Anti-Manipulation Rules, KYC/AML Requirements for Traders, International Commodity Markets Overview, Case Studies and Best Practices.
