Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Computer Applications Officer course is designed to equip learners with in-demand skills in essential computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet usage, file management, and basic troubleshooting. It prepares individuals to confidently perform digital tasks in administration, documentation, reporting, and other office functions, making them job-ready for modern computer-enabled workplaces.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Computer Applications: Basics of Computer Hardware and Software, Types of Computer Applications (System, Utility, Application Software), Operating System Functions (Windows/Linux), File and Folder Management, Introduction to Cloud Computing, Data Storage Devices and Formats.

Module 2: Word Processing and Documentation: Creating and Formatting Documents in MS Word, Page Layout and Design Features, Table, Chart, and Image Insertion, Mail Merge and Labels, Proofing Tools and Language Settings, Document Templates and PDF Conversion.

Module 3: Spreadsheets and Data Handling: Spreadsheet Basics in MS Excel/Google Sheets, Formulas and Functions (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP), Charts and Graphs, Data Filtering, Sorting, and Validation, Pivot Tables and Conditional Formatting, Spreadsheet Protection and Sharing.

Module 4: Presentation and Reporting Tools: Creating Presentations with MS PowerPoint, Slide Design and Transitions, Using Multimedia (Audio/Video), SmartArt and Charts for Data Visualization, Presenter View and Printing Handouts, Reporting Using Google Slides/Prezi.

Module 5: Internet, Email & Digital Collaboration: Basics of Internet Browsing and Research, Creating and Managing Email Accounts, Using Attachments, Filters, and Folders, Google Workspace Tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet), Online Forms, Surveys, and Scheduling Tools, Cyber Safety and Digital Etiquette.

Module 6: Office Automation and ICT in Administration: Overview of Office Automation Tools, Database Management Basics (MS Access/LibreOffice Base), Record Keeping and MIS, Workflow Automation Concepts, ICT Tools for Government and Business Use, Final Project on Integrated Office Application.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
